weekend work week 3-4!

The following statement shows that if Juliet communitcated with her family more then they would have a stronger bond then what they do. She wouldn't have had to take as much drastic action as she did, if she just had a nice talk to her mother and father about it. She wouldn't have been forced to do this if she talked it out with her mother and father. Juliet acts without thinking first. She should take more care before acting.

The Sun, The Stars, The Moon!

His imagery makes the paly a whole lot easier to understand, he explains and expands on things that are easier to relate to when someone makes a use of imagery. Reading the play Shakespeare has related a lot to imagery of the sky and the world in different aspects. The imagery makes the audience have a greater understanding of the play because it makes them have a different aspect of the play rather than just words. Shakespeare has not just created a play full of words but yet he has created a play full of knowledge, imagery, actions and interest. The imagery that Shakespeare has created through out the play keeps the audience/readers interested and to keep on reading. The things we don't know about or never find out during the play are what keep people interested and to keep reading on, but the great thing is that you never find out. Imagery is one of the many great things Shakespeare has in him when he writes.

Homework for long weekend!

This statement means that he is influenced by his emotions, which means that the way he feels about Juliet he acts straight away by going up to her at the party and talking to her. He immediatly fell in love with her at first sight, so he goes and does something about that by talking to her and kissing her on the first night they meet. This shows that his emotions take over his body and make him to things straight away without thinking. His emotions towards things are stronger than any other character and they are the things that make Romeo take action and do something that he feels strongly about.

Respect Your Elders!

The respect for the elders from the Capulet side are extremely high. Every Capulet respects their elders and their lives. They respected their elders just like we respect our grandparents and elders of our society. All Capulet's respect Lord Capulet and Lady Capulet. A lack of respect is shown to Lord Capulet when romeo and the Montague's go to the Capulet's house hold party and lord Capulet tells them to leave and Tybalt wants to immediatly start a fight but Lord Capulet said to them to leave and they left but Tybalt wanted a fight. Tybalt disrepected Lord Capulet when he said no i want to start a fight ect.

Diary Entry from teenage girl!

Dear Diary,

I am just a teenage girl and I am forbidden to see my boyfriend and suppose to cut all contact with him. This is fair, my parents just can't hide me away from the world, they have been in and out of love. They just don't want me to experience the world of love, they i'm 'too young' i am thirteen. I feel this is right and this is true love because we both love each other the exact same way. Even my friends have turned on me, i thought they were there through everything and were going to help me with anything i needed, but obviously not! they want me to dump my boyfriend, they agree with my parents...no friends agree with your parents. I am so angry, i wish i could just runaway with him and never look back, if i cut all contact with him i wont be able to sleep. He is the reason i smile&laugh, the reason i wake up wake up in the morning with a happy face. My life has turned around to a beautiful meaning because of him, he is the one but unfortunately no one can see that, only me and him can. Just because my friends are not in love like i am, they don't have to make me dump him and cut ALL contact (like thats just silly). I wish i wasn't a teenager, i want to be older and grown up, so i can see him and be with who i want and my parents nor my friends can stop me!!!

well thats all, will write in later...

Discussion Questions!

1. The subject matter of the song is taylor swift has fallen in love with someone at first sight. she refers to the real romeo and juliet a lot through out the song.

'Cause you were Romeo,
I was a scarlet letter
And my daddy said stay away from Juliet
But you were everything to me
I was begging you please don't go

These lyrics represent that she is saying who she is in love with is like romeo and she was scarlet letter, which means that they are suppose to be enemies, her dad says stay away from juliet but he was her everything. This shows that they are in love and would do anything for one another.

2. It is a love story because it shows examples of how it relates to the real romeo and juliet. example:

So I sneak out to the garden to see you
We keep quiet 'cause we're dead if they knew
So close your eyes, escape this town for a little while

This verse relates to the real romeo and juliet because it says "so i sneak out to the garden to see you" this clearly means that they are enemies but they don't care cause they would do anything for love. The real romeo and juliet want to be together so much they fake her death and this verse relates to that because she is sneaking around and lying.

3. The two characters are just teens who fell in love, first love is always the strongest. the relationship between is a very strong bond. Romeo must have fell in love with her at first sight, for them to sneak around and plan a wedding.

4. The lyrics below show that they were both young when they first saw each other and she has flashbacks to that very moment she first saw him. She remembers every detail and small thing about that moment.
"We were both young when I first saw you
I close my eyes and the flashback starts
I'm standing there on a balcony in summer air"

5. The themes through out this song is set in old day theme, with the ball gowns, lights and gardens. I think that this theme is the most romantic. The issues are that they can't see each other, so they have to sneak around to see the love of their life.

6. The song ends with taylor swift and her 'romeo' together at college and the film clip its just a flash back to the first day she saw him and fell in love. They see each other at college and they are about to kiss and then it ends. The real romeo and juliet ends with both of them dying because romeo thought that juliet had died but it was just fake and romeo was standing their and shot himself for real. Her death was fake so that they could be together but his was real because he couldnt live without her so he killed himself. Taylor swift ends her song like this because she says we were both young when i first saw you, this obviously means that they were a young love and that it was not as real as romeo and juliet because they were just young. She is writing it this way because she is saying it was just a 'fling' (young love) and there was nothing meant to it untill now (when they met at college).
